Red Star: A Luxurious Yacht Interior Design

Unleashing the Spirit of Oriental Artistic Conception

The design inspiration for "Red Star" comes from Zhuangzi's "Easy Travel". Xiaoyaoyou is one of the representative works of Zhuangzi, full of fantastic imagination and romantic color. The design team, led by David Chang, transformed the spirit of Oriental Artistic Conception into a magnificent and vibrant interior design that captures the essence of the ocean.

The interior design of a yacht needs to consider its curved surface, space modeling, metal structure, assembled decoration, and long-term life at sea. To achieve this, the design of "Red Star" combines straight lines and curves, creating a harmonious and visually appealing spatial structure.

With a total area of 1530 square meters, "Red Star" offers a sense of grandeur and opulence. The flowing stone patterns and ocean motifs complement each other, creating a seamless connection between the yacht and its surroundings. The design highlights the smooth convex surfaces that correspond to the yacht's exterior, evoking a sense of freedom and supremacy far away from land.

The individual spaces within "Red Star" showcase a balance between movement and tranquility. Fierce and bold colors, as well as animal patterns, are introduced to release wild and unruly energy factors. This combination of elements creates a unique and captivating atmosphere.

The design team faced various challenges during the project, including determining the hull structure, enclosure locations, usable areas, and low ceiling height utilization. They also had to consider the feasibility of future processing and on-site assembly for the floors, ceiling, and walls. Additionally, the design had to account for the ship's movement, including shaking and vibrations.

Despite these challenges, the "Red Star" yacht interior design was completed successfully, thanks to the extensive research and dedication of the design team. Their knowledge and understanding of yacht design grew throughout the project, resulting in a stunning and innovative creation.
